Fun Facts regarding "Pyramid Treasure" (5/11/2011 - 5/12/2011):

* This is the Pyramid Treasure Vault instance dungeon theme from the MMORPG
  "LaTale."

* If you want your treasure, you have to work for it: the overall difficulty
of this simfile is a bit more than your average file, with Medium actually
being an 8-footer and Easy being a 5.

* The treasure vault is booby-trapped: expect mines on all difficulties other
than Novice (the higher up you go, the more mines you'll see, and the more
they'll actually get in your way).

* Hard and Expert feature other dangers in addition to the mines: Hard has
some footswitch, and Expert's got a few hands and some triple-stomps.

--- Play LaTale? ---
* This stepartist plays LaTale; before Aeria's server shut down, I'd managed
to get far enough in the game to play the PTV (common abbreviation); being
the game's fourth story-based instance (out of a total of 8), it's really
difficult for appropriate-level characters unless they're in a full,
well-organized party of 4 people: the Assassins are quick, and one of the
first enemies capable of comboing the players, and the Thief Clan minibosses
swing around very powerful clubs that hurt a LOT if they hit you. Then
there's the dungeon boss: the Sphinx. Other than clawing at you, he can
stab you with his scorpion tail and spit lightning at you. Not pleasant.
He's got a ton of HP (like all LaTale bosses: the one thing that stands out
more than anything else in LT is epic boss battles), so an appropriately-
leveled party (around 80-90), if their effort is well-orchestrated, can
take out the Sphinx in about 10 to 15 minutes. At that level, it is HIGHLY
recommended to bring a Bard for group healing: if the group's Wizard has
not yet undergone the level 80 class-change process, their healing magic
is good, but has long cooldown times as opposed to a Bard's multiple
different healing and recovery chords. Other than this, as long as the Bard
can keep everyone healed and buffed, just about anyone else can fill out
the party, from Warlords to Sorcerers. Upon the player's first successful
defeat of the Sphinx, they will receive the Durandal, a seeming prop sword
that cannot harm normal enemies because it has one express purpose: it is
used to strike the final blow on the next instance's boss (the Ocean King) -
the first boss with a special condition for its defeat other than just
  beating it to death.
